About Rainbow TB Forum & Paneer Poo
The Rainbow TB Forum (RTBF) and Paneer Poo HIV Women’s Network are community-led networks that emerged from the grassroots work of Blossom Trust, a community-based organization active since 1993 in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu. Both networks were formed in response to the lived experiences of people affected by tuberculosis and HIV, with the shared goal of addressing stigma, discrimination, and barriers to dignified healthcare.
RTBF was established following the launch of Blossom Trust’s Campaign for the Education, Prevention, and Treatment of Tuberculosis (CEPT) in 2009. During the campaign, a group of college students undergoing TB testing and treatment faced discrimination within the public health system. Recognizing the need for a collective voice, these TB survivors came together to advocate for patient rights, equitable access to treatment, and dignity in care. Today, RTBF functions as a survivor-led platform that strengthens community support systems, promotes awareness and rights-based approaches to TB care, and addresses tuberculosis as both a medical and social issue.
Similarly, the Paneer Poo HIV Women’s Network was formed in 2005 as part of Blossom Trust’s work supporting over 1,000 HIV-affected individuals and families. The network brings together more than 400 women living with HIV into a self-help and peer-support platform, providing counselling, health education, access to antiretroviral treatment, and training on patient rights, advocacy, and leadership. Paneer Poo plays a vital role in enabling women to overcome stigma, improve their health and socioeconomic well-being, and collectively advocate for their economic, social, and cultural rights.

What We’re Looking For
The Rainbow TB Forum (RTBF) and Paneer Poo HIV Women’s Network are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support the growth of both networks during their start-up and scale-building phase. While rooted in long-standing community work, both initiatives require hands-on support to build core systems and sustainable funding pathways.
The role will focus on setting up and managing a website (for Paneer Poo) and social media, exploring crowdfunding opportunities, and identifying and engaging CSR partners for potential funding. The Project Coordinator will also support proposal development, coordination of ongoing activities, and general operational tasks across both networks.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the project cycle and fundraising, who is flexible, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple responsibilities. Prior experience in public health, women’s empowerment, TB, or HIV is an asset but not required.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Director, Mercy Annapoorani, and the wider team, while being able to work independently. This role is ideal for someone interested in helping build and strengthen community-led networks from the ground up.
