Course Overview
Successful humanitarian programmes require effective planning, coordination, implementation,
monitoring and learning. From identifying needs and designing appropriate interventions to managing
resources, measuring results and reporting to donors, programme teams must be able to manage the full
project cycle while responding to changing needs and operational realities.
This three-day professional training workshop provides participants with a practical understanding of
humanitarian programme management and the complete project cycle. It focuses on the tools and
approaches required to develop relevant programmes, manage implementation effectively, monitor
performance and demonstrate results.
The training is particularly relevant to professionals working with NGOs, INGOs, government
institutions, civil society organizations and donor-funded programmes.
