- In this role, you will make a significant contribution to the expansion and measurable success of Biovision’s political program in Switzerland. Your responsibilities include:
• Participation in the program “Agroecological Transformation of the Swiss Food System”; management and further development of projects and fields of action within the framework of the program; contribution to the political work of Biovision.
• Development and implementation of concrete solutions and suitable measures to advance the agroecological transformation of the Swiss food system
• Building and maintaining sustainable networks and alliances; representing Biovision’s positions
• Winning over stakeholders and the public to agroecology
• Development of recommendations and positions on relevant political issues in Switzerland
For this multifaceted position, you bring the following skills and experience:
University degree (Master’s in political science, agricultural science, environmental science, etc.)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field; project management experience
• Sound knowledge of agroecology, food policy, agricultural policy, sustainable food systems and political processes in Switzerland
• Excellent network in Switzerland in the relevant subject areas.
• Systemic thinking, solution orientation, openness to new approaches and the ability to summarize complex relationships simply and concisely.
• Strong teamwork and social skills, very good communication skills
• Fluent in German, very good knowledge of French and English
